Waco Mammoth National Monument harkens back to the age of prehistory by lifting the veil of secrecy on Waco's most remote past: A time when mammoths towering 14 feet high and weighing 20,000 pounds roamed the land. Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum – 100 Texas Ranger Trail, Waco, TX 76706
The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum sits on the banks of the Brazos River. It commemorates the law enforcement community that helped forge Texas out of this rough and rugged land. Celebrating the Texas Rangers' official bicentennial in 2023, it is filled with educational programming and exhibits sure to delight younger visitors from tots to teens.
